Alternate Names or Alternate Spelling of Names

Official list gives his surname as Flougere, but few instances of that name found, should be Fougere. I also found the name August Fougere in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick but the NS miner's, in particular, were mentioned in many newspaper articles and August was not. No other miners from New Brunswick.
