Interesting Facts

James was not found in the 1911 census in the Crowsnest Pass area. This may suggest that he had just immigrated to Canada. He was old to be a Timber Packer, again which may suggest that he just arrived. One newspaper list of miners gave his religion as Presbyterian, was he from Scotland??
